Welcome to the website for the students and parents of Mr. Walker's fifth grade class at Lafayette Elementary in San Francisco, California.
From the desk of Mr. Walker
National Novel Writing Month is now over.
I won, writing 53,406 words in November.
Also, five students were declared winners
on the Young Writer's Program website.
Other students may also have met their writing goals
and will be declared winners in our classroom.
I must acknowledge Mr. Drum, everyone at NaNoWriMo,
and the people at Renaissance Learning, who were
all instrumental in us receiving the NEOs,
with which so many students wrote those thousands of words.
